  • Dan first heard about OCCC from his wife when Foundry Church had a women’s retreat, she was excited about the opportunity to volunteer there. When it was his turn at the men’s retreat, he also saw the potential of what God could use the facility to further his kingdom.
With his background as an industrial mechanic and electrician he felt he could still be useful in retirement. He has been volunteering for about 7 years.
He is excited to see the camp grow and to see what God  has in store for OCCC in the future.

    • David and Janette Roth share a passion for the ministry of Christian camping, especially as a tool to reach kids with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They have mentored many young adults throughout their lives, and sending kids to Christian camps has always played a part in that mentorship. David and Janette have been central Oregon farmers and ranchers for many years, and were key players in the acquisition of the camp property, as well as in the ongoing development of Ochoco Christian Conference Center. Janette has been a board member since OCCC's inception, and continues to share her passion, wisdom, and experience with the board and staff, and is still making sure kids come to camp!

  • Dan is a native Central Oregonian, who has enjoyed a career in accounting and contracting.  He is a member of the Nativity Church in Bend, Oregon.
